I Never Start on Mondays

Well this is my first blog and I am so excited to share it with the world!

First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Michelle and I am the mother of a beautiful three year old boy named Lucas and the wife of my wonderful high school sweetheart. I work from home selling timeshares.

Before my son I was a very athletic person. I would eat healthy and workout everyday. During my pregnancy I gained 70 pounds! After the birth I got back on my feet and lost 50 lbs.

I know many women and men are in my shoes, trying to lose those last pounds! So I started this blog to share my daily diet, workouts, and thoughts. Everyone is welcome to ask me questions and post! I know now that with a blog that I am held accountable for my fitness journey.

So here is my first thought on this life changing blog:

I NEVER START MY DIET ON MONDAYS. I ALWAYS START TODAY!

Research shows that the percentage of failing a diet and fitness routine when you start on a Monday increases! I know this because it has happened to me in the past. I always start my goals TODAY. So since I started my goal TODAY, I will share with you my weight t, my diet, and my workout routine for today.

Weight After Pregnancy: 200 pounds
Weight as of 01/13/2011: 150Lbs
Goal: 120Lbs

  4. Hi Melissa!

Thanks for the post! Yes starting Monday can almost lead to failure. Its like the "New years Resolution" how many people actually follow thru? Not many! I do not have a resolution. I just started hitting my gym and diet hard during the holidays! LOL

Please come by the blog often and lets help eachother out! Please refer people to my blog.. I would love to have a big team!

    Have a great weekend!

  5. I can totally see the Monday thing being true. Not so much because you start on a Monday, but for people that always start "later", Monday is probably the most common day picked.
